Sweet Cheeks Brooklyn is a NYC bakery with a little big of sass and a lot of love. In 2009 Rose Calucchia started baking for friends and family as a hobby out of her Brooklyn apartment. As baking sheets and cupcake tins began to take over her living space, she decided it was time to give the business a real go. Apart from the standard menu, Sweet Cheeks Brooklyn has a monthly specials as well as custom cake and cookie orders. We use as many organic and local ingredients as possible. We are also committed to providing gluten free versions of many of our products.

Rose Calucchia moved to Brooklyn in 2004. She fell in love with the borough as well as the Brooklyn-based dance/acrobatic company LAVA.
She spends most of her time on her hands with LAVA, baking, perusing
farmer’s markets and exploring Brooklyn.
Jenn DeGuzman’s first baking memory involves pulling a still-running mixer out of batter and it reaching the ceiling before it was shut off by her aunt. She emigrated from Queens to Brooklyn in 2005 and has never looked back. Jenn spends her non-baking hours throwing dinner parties, checking fashion blogs, and trying not to buy too many pairs of shoes.
Rose & Jenn met in 2004 and pretty much knew immediately they were of the same mold. Finding themselves very unemployed during the winter months, they decided to join forces. So far they are the other’s only allowance in the kitchen. A yin and yang of sorts, they make a
powerful baking team!
